The BTOB boy band parted ways with Cube Entertainment after 11 years

On November 6th, through an official statement, Cube Entertainment confirmed the boy group BTOB would leave the agency. The announcement explained that “careful discussions were held with the members over a long period of time, and as a result, we decided not to renew the contract by mutual agreement“.

Thus, BTOB’s Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changseop, Lim Hyunsik, Peniel, and Yook Sungjae end their decade-long relationship with Cube Entertainment, a rather long run since their debut as a K-Pop group on March 21st, 2012.

Cube also shared a special dedication to the boys: “We send our thanks to BTOB, who showed performances that made us proud and will continue to do so for a long period of time, as well as to the loyal fan club ‘MELODY‘, who was always supportive and gave strength to the boygroup“.

The relationship between the successful company and BTOB idols seems to have ended on good terms, as the announcement mentioned: “We will sincerely support the new growth and bright future of BTOB members who have unlimited potential. Please send unchanging love to the group who will start another journey“.
