EXO is considered one of the pioneers in the Kpop scene as they had a groundbreaking career during the 2010s. The boys are still working actively on music projects together, and the fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Now, EXO’s youngest member, Sehun is set to enlist in the South Korean military this month.
The idol posted a heartfelt handwritten letter on Weverse, reassuring his fans, better known as EXO-L, that he would return soon. He started his letter by announcing he was set to enlist in the army on December 21, and he apologized in advance for making the announcement so late to fans.
He also ensured he was reflecting on himself to think deeply about this new chapter in his life, and he hopes that everyone stays healthy until the day they meet each other again. EXO-L was proud of Sehun because surely, like the other EXO members, he was going to have a great journey in his enlistment.
EXO’s Baekhyun immediately posted a message in Bubble stating that the EXO-L might be frustrated at first because he didn’t announce his enlistment sooner. However, he wants to have a huge party together when they can meet again and asks the EXO-L to show support for Sehun during this period.
Baekhyun also confessed he felt sad and didn’t want to send him to the military, but he knew he was going to be okay. He also confessed he secretly read the fans’ letters, and he is sure that Sehun is going to do well, and he is going to miss everyone during his stay in the military.
